I really enjoyed my visit to the botanic gardens, and wasn't the weather perfect for it? These are the oldest botanic gardens in Britain, and house many beautiful native and exotic plants. A lot of people had brought books and picnics etc, and made a day of it. I thought it was very cheap to get in and would be worth having the annual pass if you lived in the area. Entry prices are on the website here.

  2. Oh wow it's a shame that you have to pay to get in! We have many botanic gardens where I live and I love to visit them all the time - my favorite part is the English/European garden ;)

    1. Fortunately it isn't too expensive - pretty well worth the money, I thought :)

  3. Those are some mighty big leaves indeed! We tend to grow hefty sized trees here in British Columbia (especially in the Pacific rain forest region), but one rarely sees leaves anywhere near that size. I'd definitely want to stop and pose with them as well.

I love your elegantly beautiful floral print top (dress?), it suits the setting superbly and really looks marvelous on you, dear gal.

*PS* Thank you very much for the suggestion of wearing a cardi over that green dress. I haven't tried it yet, but will soon for sure.

    1. I don't get to see leaves that size very often - our trees don't get that big so I just couldn't resist documenting the size of it! :)

  4. Oxford was just gorgeous when we visited and these photos really have me longing for a return visit! So pretty and we didn't get the chance to go to the gardens so maybe we'll just have to plan that trip! ;-)
